Bleach is back at the top of anime thanks to Thousand-Year Blood War, but its 366-episode original run plus movies confuses every new fan. Here is the clean 2026 watch order, including what filler you can safely skip.
The Simple Watch Order
- 1. Bleach (2004) — Episodes 1–366. The original series: Substitute Shinigami through the Fullbring arc.
- 2. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 1 — the final manga arc, animated from 2022.
- 3. TYBW Part 2 (The Separation) → Part 3 (The Conflict) → The Calamity (2026) — continue in release order.
Filler You Can Skip
About 45% of the original Bleach is filler. The big skippable blocks:
- Episodes 64–109 — Bount arc (fully filler).
- Episodes 168–189 — New Captain Amagai arc.
- Episodes 230–265 — Zanpakuto Rebellion (fun, but optional).
- Episodes 311–342 — Gotei 13 invasion filler before the finale.
Keep canon-mixed episodes (e.g., 1–63, 110–167, 190–229, 266–310, 343–366) to follow the real story.
What About the Movies?
All four classic movies (Memories of Nobody, DiamondDust Rebellion, Fade to Black, Hell Verse) are non-canon side stories — watch them anytime after their timeframe, or skip them entirely.
